New York City must be a place where everyone can fully participate in daily life—no barriers, no exceptions. I will partner with the disability community  to build a city that is accessible, inclusive, and designed with people with disabilities at the center.

To be a city for all, basic access is fundamental and so I will work to expand elevator access, improve paratransit, and make our streets and sidewalks safe and navigable. And the same goes for ensuring those who with a disability have the support and city services to stay, I’ll work to create more accessible, affordable housing with stronger enforcement of accessibility standards.
